Benita Chick

Benita Chick is the CEO and Founder of Encompass HK, an organization dedicated to advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education and consultancy. A passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and community outreach, Benita collaborates with businesses, governments, non-profits, and youth on various social impact projects. She holds a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.A. from Boston University, with expertise in research, psychology, education, and experiential learning, which she applies to corporate and organizational training. Benita is known for her innovative DEI programs, such as “Beer, Chocolate and Inclusion,” and her work in curating Hong Kong’s first LGBTQ+ tour and Green Women Festival. As a Chinese lesbian living with Bipolar Disorder, she openly shares her personal journey to promote awareness and allyship. Beyond Encompass HK, Benita serves as a board member, mentor, and educator, contributing to organizations like KELY Support Group, Pink Alliance, and The University of Hong Kong, furthering her mission to create a more inclusive and sustainable world.
