Rhoda Chan

Rhoda Chan is a seasoned marketer with nearly 20 years of experience in multinational organizations within the finance and telecommunication industries, including Standard Chartered Bank, AIA Company Limited, PCCW Limited, and Cable & Wireless HKT Limited. She specialized in customer acquisition, retention, brand management, and new product/service development. Driven by her passion for philanthropy, Rhoda transitioned her focus to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the charity sector, culminating in her role as Head of Charities at the Hong Kong Jockey Club. During her tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, she served as Head of Brand and Sponsorship Management, where she successfully implemented global branding strategies, advanced the brand promise “Here for good” in Hong Kong, and led impactful CSR initiatives such as the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon and “Seeing is Believing.” Her work was recognized with accolades like the Marketer of the Year and Distinguished Marketing Leadership Award at the HKMA/TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence in 2010. At the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Rhoda managed grant-making projects, contributed to the development of the heritage revitalization project “Tai Kwun,” and collaborated with government and NGO partners to address community needs in sports, arts, culture, and heritage. Her academic qualifications include an MBA with distinction from the University of Sheffield, a Master of Social Science in Behavioral Health with distinction from the University of Hong Kong, and a degree in Company Secretaryship and Administration from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
